Different color eyes in cats

I was going through some DeviantArt pics and I saw this one picture (which is real) and I remembered that it's true that some cats have different color eyes. Does anyone know why that is?

i dont know why this is, but i was told they are good luck=) possibly the different males the female mates with during the time they are in"heat" thats why they all come out different colors, diff fur, diff eye colors from one another(well if they are out and about getting humps:p )

other cats are just purely bred keeping all the same traits of the one male and female. but this is just my opinion doesnt mean it is right

nope^^^^they usually have bright blue eyes, but the odd time just as all other breds they can end up having two diff colored eyes too. time to go google this shit lol

my dog has that. it skips every generation in her.... line of... dog... reproductivness.
