Shit Seattle/Belleview ends up with 80,000 people without power and theire news acts as if it is the end of the world. Glad they don't live up here they would of thought it was the comming apocalypse with our 1/4 million out..

BC Hydro's PR person for the storm last week probably got in some shit.....when asked why BC Hydro doesn't bury more power lines, she ranted on and on about budget costings and savings for the consumer. People don't like to hear numbers, at least not at first...there was no empathy on her behalf.

Joanne McRae used to do PR for Power Smart and she knew wtf she was doing....I forget the name of the lady on the news last week, but if she was working for me I'd have a talk with her. She seemed too defensive and cold.
