call out for venues in and around vancouver

Hello everyone...

I am in search of a venue to have an all night dance party (rave) in.. i'm not looking for anything too small or large at this point, maybe some place that can handle at least 100 people, and at max maybe 250-300...

I really do not care what the venue is , whether it be arstpace, warehouse, cafe, community center, bar, nightclub ect as long as it has basic necesseties such as washrooms with running water ... any leads will be greatly apreciated and maybe even rewarded :)

Also, if it helps i can get references from locations i have used before, they will be available upon request.

thanks!

Fred

So your trying to get others to do your work for you so you can throw a party. And by giving them a free ticket or something your hoping they will give you some contacts?

Just wondering?

312 Main Street, there's an abandoned parkade that goes down 6 levels, its fairly soundproof.

Just walk towards the double doors.

Its best to go at night. Bring a crobar it might be boarded up.

Probably the best approach. This way you'll actually get a good idea of what the area is like, how transit accessible it is, etc.

There's a few rec halls on the east side of Vancouver which are some what practical...there are a few on the west side too, which seem kind of reasonable... but ya if driving around isn't your thing, for sure, yellow pages or google. Good luck :)
