Always wanted to live on the west coast, I've got some good reasons now, and I think the timing's right. Hope to see familiar faces more often! Hope everyones having a good start to their new year!!!! Andrew www.myspace.com/myagisoleclaw www.myagimusic.com |

yup....looking for a place in the coquitlam / burnaby area with my gf...i acutally like that area quite a bit, its got pretty easy access to the airport and thats all i really care about....plus i dont want to live downtown per se. did that in toronto for a few years and im tired of it - when you spend your life going out being reclusive at home is a really nice bonus! |

no, its got easy access though, the skytrain from what i gather can get you pretty close and when i was at the airport a few weeks ago i noticed them installing a station there. if its anything like ontario though, that pretty much means that if im lucky it will be finished by the time im a granddad.

map from "Coquitlam" to the Vancouver International Airport. by car it's about an hour. if you want transit, try www.translink.bc.ca for our transit system. there is a route locator and all that |

no, i dont work at the airport, i just fly usually 4-8 times a month for gigs. living in toronto was a pain in the ass that way, zoned taxis racked up about 300 bucks a month in commuting to / from the airport which is a pain. ive done the coquitlam to the airport route quite a few times now, my girlfriend lives out there, but i didnt have any info about mass transit yet. |

if driving isn't an option: if you end up living close to the skytrain at lougheed mall, you can always skytrain downtown & then catch the airporter bus. that'll cost $3.25 for the skytrain & $13 for the bus. taxi's to the airport from coquitlam are pretty fucking expensive.
andrew: i'm lindsay's friend mike from whistler (now in vancouver). me, linds, emmerson, carrie & you all went to the bukem & conrad show last winter up in whistler. i'll have to come check you out next time you're playing. |
