having a great work day.......
i killed it today.
i got more done today than i have gotten done in the last 3. that mainly had to do with the cooperation of the pipe fitters and the welders, not to mention my general foreman finally got all of the stainless and carbon steel joints orginized for welding on the south side of the 500 rack (the south/east junction of the job site). everything ran smoothly and i found myself working my tits off. i absolutly love a long, hard days work. not that i don't work my ass off everyday, but everything jsut seemed to flow today. productivity within my crew was probably in the high 90's. tommorow is the 16th consecutive day of work for me without a day off. i usually work between 10 to 12 hours a day, so that will be around 175 hours worked without a day off. then on thursday i will work until noon, then i am getting on a coach bus headed back to edmonton for 4 days off. either way, i am glad i have been able to produce such great, hard work for this long. but i will be glad to go back to my usual 10 days on/ 4 days off schedule. anyway, today was a great day. i got 1 and a half days left and i hope i can only do beeter than i did today. booyakasha.
