Maybe I'm just stuck in the 90's but I'm stoked for this. rage is one of those bands that i regretted never seeing live.

Full Coachella Line up should be out tomorrow.

fly out on the 26th and stick another wknd in LA, fly back 7th
prob wont stay that long, would be nice

flight looks around 350-4 return
tickets are like 2-250
hostel here, hotel there, another 3-400 (* this cost vary based on length in LA)

about 1000$ should cover the basics
plus then like another 4-5 to live off

could do it all for a grand; party ticket, plane ticket and minimal spending money if you flew in thurs and out sunday night. be a painful flight tho..

or you could make some arrangement with me since i'm only like 5ish hours from where the show will be. and i have a few friends with big farms that i believe are right in the vicinity.
i was hoping to go to this last year, but i left too early.
i think i'll still be down here at that time this year.

to give you a rough idea i usually drop around a grand on the trip every year. thats airfare and hotels. they added a day this year so that means tickets r a bit more plus another day in a hotel so i'd say round 1200-1400 and you're set. If you're willing to camp it and/or rent a van and drive down the coast you could almost cut that in half.

I seen Rage against the machine Live when i was in grade 10 (1997 or 98). Wu Tang was suppost to open but wernt allowed to enter canada after beating a man in detriot. Instead The Roots and Atari Teenage Riot opened for them, seeing the roots live was worth the ticket alone.....

I saw that show too - 1996. I saw them at the Coliseum the following year too... I recently pulled the Evil Empire disc from my collection and took a listen, and honestly, can't believe I was into them so much... I mean, the funk/rock is pretty tight, but a little repetetive.. and De La Rocha... quite annoying really.
