2007 Oscars

I am hoping that Forest Whitaker takes the Leading Actor award.

My vote for Leading Actress goes to Meryl. Meryl Streep proves over and over again what a fantastic Actress she is by getting "The Devil Wears Prada" nominated. It was a good film, but definately not oscar worthy.

I'm shocked that Babel and Little Miss Sunshine got oscar nods... I thought they were both pretty awful.

Children of Men should have been up there for pictrue and direction.

I guess we'll see how the night plays out...

Wow.. what a shitty year for the Oscars. Then again, I've never really given a shit about them so I'm not surprised.

Forest Whitaker is a good choice, although I haven't seen him in that roll. He's always picked some great rolls for his acting style, even though he's not all that exceptionally talented.

I hope Pan's Labyrinth takes every award it's nominated for, because it's an amazing piece of art. I think "Letters from Iwo Jima" should win as well.

Borat should win out of personal preference, as well as on merit for originality and ingenious humour.

What a patheic nod to merly, and avana i want him to win too his golden globe speech was priceless.

THE QUEEN is going to win for the bitches tho, even if i will never, ever sit through her stellar performace. I'm sure she was old and fabulous.

I was thinking the same thing about Little Miss Sunshine. It was a fantastic, funny film.

Probably because i left out the words i do not know how to spell by heart, haha.

I just agreed with you over who i'd like to see best male performance and asumed that the actress up for "The Queen" would win, even if i will never see the film.

And meryl did not deserve a nod here.

I just can't get over the fact that Little Miss Sunshine got nominated for best picture... and Borat for best adapted.... it's mind boggling.

Other than that, I'm happy to see that there are no rap groups out there for best original song... though eminems song was pretty good, I just don't see how the academy can justify giving an oscar to a song called "It's hard out there for a pimp"... it was a really awful song!!!!
