question about my finger

doing some work today ( that I don't usually do ) I came home and noticed my pinky was stiff. when i open and close the knuckle of it, it feels rough. not painful at all but just a really feeling; not smooth. Like adjusting a gooseneck hose. (it also happens when I rub the knuckle)

Would this just be something to do with using new muscles? (i'm worried about my pinky because i use it more than the average bear)

Did you do anything that you can think of that would have injured it? That's the obvious place to start right? Perhaps a botched shocker?

i work in construction, and with heavy lifting the pinky finger is usually the first one to feel the effects. cuz its the weakest.
