I, sadly, am poorly equipped for such photography. I've been thinking about getting a DSLR for a long time, but I've never had the time to make it a worthwhile investment. Now that I live downtown, however, I'm totally gonna have to get one.
As for how I did it, and with what settings. It was shot with a Casio Exilim EX-Z50 at ISO 50. There are 5 shots sticked together, each shot 3 times with increasing exposure times (the camera doesn't do shutter speed or f/stops, just +/- 2.5). I used photoshop to mix the different shots a-la-HDR, but since there's no shutter speed or f/stops I did the mixing by hand. I just uploaded a larger version of this to the FnK gallery if you want it |

actually there's a pile of living thigs in that photo. On the left of the photo near the entrance to the underground parking are a trio of homeless people sleeping in a doorway. A couple hours after I took this shot another homeless person wandered through and tried to steal one of their bags of pop-cans. Holy hell you've never heard such screaming. Dumbasses. 20min later a rent-a-cop showed up and made them get off the property. Then right after that happened a couple had an arguement while walking down the alley because the guy was too tanked to drive and the girl didn't want to walk anywhere in her heels. Heh... I'm harsh gonna have to buy me a super soaker.
