Church?
anybody here besides myself go to church? I'm forced to go and try to skip it at any chance I get....too boring...and I get enough of it at an all boys catholic school....

hmm... i've never been to church before.. the only 2 times i've been were for a funeral and a wedding, opps. almost wrote weeding.. haah..
i'm not religious... at all.. so i dont think i'd appreciate going to church that much.. my parents sometimes drag me to buddhist temples.. but thats kinda cool cuz you burn stuff... and you dont have to sit while ppl talk about how you're going to hell... "sure i go to church, everytime i kill someone and i go to confession, then god loves me again." -- slayer. ;] me and a friend drove by this small old abanddoned church a while ago, it looked really neat.. i dunno. religion is not my thing. a cult would be kinda cool though.. hehe.

I used to be harsh religious...church every week...bible study...youth group...buuuut, after a series of events, and after I started partying, I stopped going to church. *shrugs* I just realised that it's not for me. I feel that if you have your own set of good morals/values that you follow and believe in, then that's fine. I haven't been since last summer, and I don't plan on going anytime in the near future.

no. i dont need someone preaching to me to tell me how to live my life and give me these impossible set rules that everyone breaks anyways, i can't live on restrictions. even the tiny restrictions drive me nuts and makes me wanna run around and cause havoc. christianity is the biggest cult out there.. k.. i think every religion is a cult.. but personally... i dont agree with the bible, sure the stories are kinda neat. but hardly believeable.. if ppl had such power back then, where is the power now. the bible used to say stuff about how blacks were devils and whatnot.. and that has changed since blacks became more accepted. makes you wonder what else they're gonna change... i dunno.. just doesn't sound right to me.. and they say only if you believe can you get into heaven.. k.. what if you kill someone, and oh. i pray everyday. i'll get into heaven now cuz god will forgive my sins.. there's a lot of holes in the bible.. i dont really trust anyone else 100% but myself.. cuz i'm the only person that's going to be there in the end. ppl come and go.. but i'm with me forever... i dunno i'm rambling... then again... i dont agree with any religion.. i'm an atheist then i guess.. do we have any other atheists out there.. dont worry. i still respect the churchie's out there.. just not my thing.. i think less ppl go to church now.. cuz ppl have made more realistic and attainable morals for themselves... but then again.. i dont think there's a heaven or hell... i said it once i'll say it again... we all work for goals and a future.. yet we all end up in the same place in the end.. DEAD. pessimistic today... why isn't it sunny?? i ramble too much.

i'm an atheist...
yea i'm an atheist... an educated one at best... i was dumped in to the whole sunday skool scene when i was a wee one, so my mom could go off and fuck her boyfriend for a couple hours without me knowing. i did that shit for like 6 years or whatever, but i never got lured in by their hypnotic spells. i've always had good judgement on fakes, frauds, cocksuckers, and people that are only talking to me because they want something from me. it was insane how insecure i felt whenever i was in a church. even when i was 6, i felt the greed being passed by me in this so-called "collection-plate", or the donation envelopes cleverly placed next to the holy bible & hymmn book... i've done my time at christian summer camps, and felt so alienated from all the other kids, who apparently had their eyeballs scratched out in some cult ritual (i must've skipped that meeting) CUZ THEY COULDN'T SEE A FUCKIN' THING. they were too blind to see that someone was trying to prozac-coat the world, in some sick-fuck's attempt to rid the world of what he found to be distasteful in his opinion.
i'll calm down. ... christians are the only religious people i have a problem with. look back in history books, it's a well known fact that christianity was first believed to be a cult. they just didn't dress up in sweat pants and wear the same nike shoes, and they weren't based out of waaco, texas... drink the punch, come on, u know u want to. catholicism is understandable. buddhism is a great concept. hindu sikh tao whatever-ism... i think they're all just ways of having some kind of FAITH. that's what it should be all about. something to believe in. to give a person character... it's not about money, it's not about recruiting zombies, and it's not about pouring 10% of your annual income into church funds. (that's what my mom's paying out... she doesn't even help me out with that much cash... church comes before family? maybe if u've been brainwashed, yea...) YES! I AM GOD! my grandma made me go to church once. just to look around. i think she worked in the library there or something.
it scared me and i wanted to leave. my mom is really against organized religion, or maybe just against making ME follow what SHE does. she says i have a choice and she hopes that one day i believe in some sort of "higher power" but thats about it. My parents rule. Never been forced to do anything. I myself wouldn't mind going to an all boys skool, but thats cuz i'm a chick. a very dirty naughty bad chick. it would suck to be a boy at an all boys skool tho. poor you BF. you must jack off alot. am i allowed to talk about jacking off in a post about church? i think most people are just scared there MIGHT be a god when they die, so have to beleive in something while they are alive so they don't go to hell when they die. sort of a "just in case" clause. meh, i dunno

i'm not religious at all. i'm don't believe in organized religion. religion is just something to scare people into conformity. a sacrifice of human behaviour, really. believe in god? beLIEve in god? not for me. religious people kinda scare me. my extended family is REALLY religious and they see as me like...the anti-christ or something. it's fun. causing a ruckus in the religious world. if religion is for you, then that's awesome. i'm happy for you. it's just not for me. the only real religion i'm interested in is paganism...or wicca....

no i don't go to church. I used to go for on christmas with my grandma but thats about it. I have my opinions on the whole religion and church scene but i'm not goin to get in to them in case i offened someone. In a nut shell: i think its great if your in to it and the concept of having rules for moral living can be a good thing but there's also lots of things that i don't agree with.

religion is for people who are scared about the unknowns...theyre so scared that they try to find an answer in a higher power..because they don't want to believe that no one knows what happens after death...so they put their faith in something in order to believe that it's not the end when u die and theyre is a greater journey....it would be cool...but unlikely... personally..the most likely thing that i can think that happens is u jus die...u stop thinkin..(somehow)..that i can't comprehend...but im not gonna start believing jus because of it... corrie

I hate going to church after a party because......well........for one I am super paranoid........and two................I am catholic and we have to eat the holy bread (communion) near the end of the mass. Now this is difficult when I have popped and my mouth is dry as a muthafucker. Itz sooooooooo hard to swallow! Damn I thought I wuz gonna choke the last time......!

c-Tard it doesn't sound like u know what a Christian is....Christianity branches off into a lot of different types of churches ie Roman Catholic, Baptist, Witnesses, anglican...etc...which ones cause u the probs? the ones that come to ur door to sell religion....I can understand u not liking them because u shouldn't have to sell religion but that's a whole different post....anyways just wondering about who gave u shit...
