ABC's plan frightens and confuses me! The Alphabet network is taking the disgruntled cavemen from the GEICO commercials and handing them their own half-hour comedy-series pilot, says Variety. Caveman, as it has for some reason been titled, will revolve around three prehistoric gents who contend with prejudice as they go about their lives as thirtysomethings in modern Atlanta.

Ad copywriter Joe Lawson will pen the series, but there is no word on whether Ben Weber and Jeff Daniel Phillips (and Matthew John Armstrong?) will reprise their Cro-Magnon roles from the commercials.
