move the Penguins to Seattle!

this would create a natural rivalry with Vancouver. it's a true hockey market, unlike the Florida's, Tampa Bays, and Atlanta's of the NHL. Also it would allow Detroit to move back over to the Easter Conference. seriously is Kansas City really such a hockey hotbed?

p.s. the Sonics Lease is up after the 2010 season so they could start building a new arena for joint use between the teams.

I sure hope they go to Seattle!! Somehow I doubt it, but maybe a team will be there in the next couple years. The market there is waaay better than anywhere else without a team right now.

Their junior teams suck though lol. I remember goin down there for a tournament, we had to play a class higher and worked them. My friend's team beat 1 of their teams like 12 zip. Not sure if they're better these days though.

Are you kidding, maybe when seattle gets a decent sized arena, Until then forget about any NHL team ever going there. A team wont just get up and move to a city because a few people want it. You need infrastructure to support it and from what ive heard seattles current arena licks balls. Although it would be great to have another western conference team so close i doubt it will happen any time soon.

just to clarify it's very likely Seattle will get a new arena @ 2010 for the Sonics. this would be a great time to launch an NHL franchise. they might have to play out of Key Arena for a year or two though.

i doubt they will go to seattle.

besides, the northwest devision alreay has 5 teams. that mean they will have to put minnesota into a different division.

and with the penguins in our devision, that will make our division even tougher(not that it isn't already).

i think that albamba should have thier own NHL team, and call themselves the
albamba confederation. that would be ill.

Minnesota is on the Great Lakes. there is nothing remotely North West about that. plus they are the most boring team to watch play. I'd love to Crosby, Malkin, and Staal 8 games a year instead. Also it would allow Detroit, St Louis, or maybe Chicago to go to the Eastern Conference which would make way more sense.

The wild definetly aren't quite as boring as past seasons. Mainly cause they abit more offense and they actually trade with teams.

Still I don't like playing them 8 times. That is boring
