They sell deep fried Mars bars and deep fried Wunderbars at The Templeton on Granville. Never had one though.

Oil fondue is GREAT (peanut oil works well because it has a high smoke point, as long as no one is allergic to peanuts)! Mmmm to cooked meat. And battered veggies. *drools*

There's a place on Denman (next to Cupcakes) with another location on Robson called Capstone Tea (I think) that does all-you-can-eat chocolate fondue. It's sooooooooo yummy, and the teas they have there are fantastic too!

Indeed, although the more I think about it, the more I seem to remember leaving at someone elses place so i can pretty much kiss it goodbye. Think Ill go buy another and setup a movie/fondue night or something.

Theres a place in Mission where I live (shudder) that apparently makes the best one ever.

Its in some sort of batter and has chocolate and caramel and whipped cream on top.

I tried a bite of one once and I got an instand toothache and my chest felt tight. Thats how you know its good shit.

But on the topic of fondue.. cheese is good, oil is too fatty for me.. the broth is good and then after you add some soy sauce and green onions and shite and you can drink it like soup.. delish.. i like chocolate the best.
