Places to empty my garbage/recycling?

So i have this garbage under my sink, and i was wondering if anybody knew of a service or something so that i can get rid of it? I've seen people giving their garbage to this blue truck thing that always drives around, but the asshole never knocks on my door for mine..

and help would be appreciated

They generally don't knock. You're supposed to leave it there for them.
