Help with Speech Topics
Just wondering if you guys have any ideas for speech topics..
Im taking a public speaking class on saturdays.. its a class thats part of my program at BCIT.. and I have no idea what to talk about... ANY ideas would be great! thanx

It can be about anything?
Liberal bias in american media (outfoxed documentary and lots of other literature) Islamophobia in Britain, veil debate. Multiculturalism in Canada, todays national post reported that we are the largest growing country. Green party possible seat in the house of commons? your into marketing right? Well i'm doing a paper on the interaction between the PR sphere and social media structures on the internet. Fresh topic. Anything media or communicative will be a great topic for a speech. Depends on what you are interested in, if you like history then you could do a speech on the transference of oral to print cultures i.e Marshall Mcluhan and the gutenburg galaxy. How are internet mediated communications changing social dynamics? How do modern technologies change our identities, are they extensions of the self according to McLuhan? Internet regulation post-911. How does the media use fear to "frame" ideas for the public? How consumerism and branding effect the public space.
