'Scar Tissue' by Anthony Kiedis

I'm just finishing this book now and I've quite enjoyed the read. Usually I'm skeptical about biographical (or in this case autobiographical) books but he is actually a very talented writer and has lived a far more interesting life than I had realized.

If you're a Chili Peppers fan, I highly recommend this. It sheds a lot of light on the many directions their music has gone over the years.

VERY GOOD READ

Check out the recent 'Ongoing History of New Music' show that asks the fantastic question 'Why are the Chili Peppers no dead?'

It was a great listen for sure.

As well, check out the Motley Crue bio 'The Dirt' and surprisingly enough the Manson one 'Long Hard Road Out of Hell'. They're not so much eye opening as straight up entertaining.... these guys lived crazy lives!

When I was reading Mansons bio and got to the part about his grandfather, it explained so much about why he is the way he is.
