We are selling candy at "Kick It" for an impotant cause
After "Juciy", Maria came upon a friendly, Forest Gump like homless man named Dereck. Being very friendly, and wanting the water bottles to exchange for cash, Maria gave him the leftover fruit from the party, and some change so he could buy his favourite Asian Hot Buns. Ever since then, they have been good friends.

Impressed with his strength, innocence and general optimism on life, Maria continued to visit him and bring him food, money, and clothing whenever she could. The money goes towards things such as medicine, and of course, food and clothing.

To continue to help Dereck out, all proceeds from the candy bag sales at "Kick It" will go towards him so he can continue to have shelter, warmth and food.

Dereck is a great guy, and your help is greatly appreciated.

So go buy some candy at "Kick It!"

We are trying to help Dereck out, and we are just asking for you help. Maria will REALLY be selling candy (the kind you eat) at "Kick It" so that we can raise some money for Dereck.

Every dollar made from the candy will be matched dollar for dollar from the water sales

Derick is a great guy, you know one of those guys who just doesn't deserve to be on the streets.
He doesn't drink or do drugs, and people tend to take advantage of him because he's kind of slow

I won't get in to details but its almost impossible to for him to get a job so anything anyone can bring besides money will help

Clothes (even girls clothes, he sells them to to the working girls!)
Food (keep in mind he has no stove to cook)
etc
