Whats your idea on *cough* PLUR?
i personally think it doesnt exist.. blah to plur it was a good "idea" when it started out, but ever since it went commercial.. plur went to PLUR.... thats too much plur.. just blown up over poportion...

its sumthign that can only exists in one's head if they wanna make it exist...other then that..the words separately mean stuff but put together..its just plur....over said..over used..over done..if u believe in it..then good for cuz u can make it happen for u...but if u don't..then wutever~:023:

plur should not have to be something that u should be reminded about...no one should have even had to have come up with the word...it should be automatik...in every day life....i personally do my best not to be an asshole where ever i go...i know when i encounter them it pisses me hte fuck off so why would i wanna act in that manner...i party to get away from the aggressiveness of the club and bar scene...if u have to be reminded of how to conduct urself at a party or anywhere else..u weren't brought up right.....sorry

i agree with Corrie...it shouldn't have to be a spoken thing...it should just be set in everyone's mind.
the idea behind plur is alright i guess...however, i honestly cannot STAND the kids who run around chanting PLUR as their little mantra and being all happy. No, you can't make me happy. and Yes, i am depressed/agro/SAD. live with it. if someone follows the WAYS of PLUR...all the more power to them. just don't go trying to "convert" people.

plur juss means
peace love unity respect rite? they all do exist... but not to every one. : P they're juss 4 chosen words slapped together.. that's all they are... sum ppl seem to think that the meaning of those words combined together means fakeness. But artificial "happiness" is no "happiness" at all... words are just words.

Meh. I would like to believe it exsists, and in some people I think it does. But for most, I think it's just been turned into a bunch of bs. Yoko is right. Words are merely words. I hate it when people are all pLuR tO tHe WoRlD *hUgS* Makes me puke. People like that are the ones that RUIN the whole concept. Those, and nammer clans that sketch in the middle of the floor.

PEACE: when i'm able to sleep at a party cuz i'm tired. or if you're really high.
LOVE: sex at the party. UNITY: having sex at a party. err... going with a buncha friends and not caring about others i guess. RESPECT: telling that guy that is trying to molest you when you're high to back off and he does after putting his hands down your pants one more time. to me... i just dont like the word... but there is maybe still "plur" left at some parties... the less big and scary filled with agro s.o.b. fuckers there. playing with colors today... weeeeeeee.........

Well, I think that plur still exists in some places. Maybe at smaller parties? Or in places that are less commercialized and not so bourgeois? I dunno - I hope it's somewhere...the concept is good and all but I guess it's just not what it used to be.

I can understand why some people dont beileve in PLUR, but what i cant understand is they insist on trying to force their view on other people.
The way I see it, PLUR does exist in a very real form for every person on this planet whethere they admit it or not. I can see why they choose not to sum it up in a little acronym for obvious reasons. it is rather silly and assuming. People look at it as a whole concept, instead of breaking it down into it's ideals and analysing it piece by piece. I have my own veiw of PLUR. unique to myself. It's not just a 4 letter word for me. Peace, Love, Unity and Respect are just the basics of it. sure they're great ideals, but not everyone can or will follow them. I accept that. Peace for me, is just that. no war, no fighting, no suffering and no bloodshed. physical peace. I am a pacifict and proud of it. I would never willingly hurt anyone, even if I disliked that person greatly. Love. I have never experienced true love, but I do have love in my heart for all my friends. all the people who care about me and accept me for who I am. I love them all. as for True Love, well, I dont beleive in it. this is probably because I have never experiecned it. but either way... Unity. What does Unity represent for me? I'm not entirely sure how to put it into words but it's somewhere like ... it's like dayglow. people united together against a common problem. people who didnt even know each other still banded together to stand up for what they believe in, regardless of their difference. this is kinda what unity is for me. Respect. this is the main one for me. I respect every person on the face of the planet for who they are and what they believe in. (Yes Astro Boy, that includes you) every person has a right to be themselves and be respected for it. I may not agree with peoples choices but thats my own personal opinion. it's like accepting a person despite all their flaws like so many of you have accepted me. The way I see it, anyone can follow PLUR depending on how they look at it. it's open to peoples own interpretation, even if they hate the word PLUR. thats all ok. I guess what I'm trying to say is that everyone has the capacity for peace, the ability to love, the friendship and needing of unity, and the understanding of respect. your veiw of it may not apply to everyone, but if it applys to 1 person, it is still there in your heart and soul. For me, PLUR stands for more than just that. it encompasses all of my beliefs. I'm just sick of hearing people say that it doesnt exist. I dont argue with religios people about god existing or not (i'm an atheist), so why should they argue with me about my beliefs? its disrespectful. PLUR does exist. It exists on the hearts of those who want it to exist.

mehehe.. I remember this one acronymb.. PLUB~! Painful Loneliness Undying Bitterness some one shouted this out after a party in december.... ferget which.. lolz I luv this acronym and I'd rather follow that and make it MY ideal.. mahaha
