Internet for DOS machine..
Does anyone know what the command line is in DOS to format your hard drive but not delete your system files?
Format c: /s (I can't remember if that's the command or not.) Secondly, can you run any internet browsers from DOS? Does anyone know of one that will work on a 486Dx laptop? |

format c: /s will delete your drive and create new system files so it can boot.
you may want to copy your orignal config.sys and autoexec.bat files to a disk, and then copy them back. there are browsers you can run from dos, but they wont do you any good unless you';re also running some sort of tcp/ip stack to connect you to the internet. why not throw win3.1 on the machine? |

you mean like mush's/mud's/moo's etc? www.mudconnector.com is the best way I used to use some fat as book with just telnet adresses, but after a while, it became dated. Gawd, I still play mud's weekly. |
