i used to work at safeway as a cashier, and in training we had to memorize 75 codes and then we had a test on it after four days, supposedly its more now.
they all get confusing.
seriously the best way to learn em...is to have flash cards...and keep going over em.

other then that...they should have cheat sheets at yer checkstand so you should be fine.
you'll get to know the codes really well..
i still know most of the codes for produce at safeway....

it's not too bad, you'll memorize them after a while. you kind of start to think of the product as a code number rather than what it is. like lettuce becomes 5697 or whatever.
