What I learned in Toronto

Hello hello, its early Friday morning and I arrived back in Vancouver late last night. I gotta work in a few hours. Meh. Anyways, this is what I learned while I was in T.O. for 1 week.

1. Jungle and DnB is the prefered electronica in Toronto, any junglist would cream there pants there. Goldie is gonna be there in July, hopefully he'll come to Vancouver to.

2. There are atleast 4 record stores on Yonge St. within walking distance. And atleast 10 cd stores. Its pure heaven for music lovers.

3. U. Of T is located in the middle of downtown T.O. Not as big as UBC, but still overwhelming. I wouldn't know where to start if I were to attend that school.

4. Houses there aren't as expensive as here.

5. There transit system is different from Vancouver. More efficient than Vancities that's foresure. There subway is surprinsing clean. $2.25 to go on the subway and/or bus (one direction only though).

6. Clubbing is an event. People of all shapes and sizes congregate within a 2 block radius for all the major clubs. GSpot,Whisky Saigon, some russian bar, Limelight, Guverment just to name afew.

7. Simply Jeff and Big League Chu were spinning @ a club when I was there. I missed it :(

Do I like Toronto, helly fuckin yeah! Is it better than Vancouver? I couldn't really give an answer to that. I was only there for a week. I didnt have a car so I couldn't go to other major suburbs and check out there vibe (Scarborough, Richmond Hill, Vaughn etc)

Anyways, glad to be back. Kick-It here we come!

and i cant wait, last time i was there i came home with about 30 cds...all super cheap...it was so great.
