Internet addiction

I've been a internet addict for 2 years now :D Last year I switched from chat room addiction to being a message board addict. Well message boards are something I was always a little addicted to ever since I saw my first one a couple years ago.

Who else is an internet addict? Probably half the people on this board, lol

ive been using the net for about 10+ years now, and i honesly used to be so addicted, spending like 10+ hours a day doing who knows what online, but it has been good because i taught myself a lot and now have a job in computers and make fairly good money. while im at work for 40hours a week, i can also play on f&k

Sometimes I do spend 8-12 hours a day/night online when I'm not working. I like to patrol message boards waiting for there to be a new post.

Smoking weed helps cure it for a while because it makes me too slow sometimes to post a lot of stuff. Beer is good too. I need a girlfriend. That would be a good cure.

haha..i don't think there is a cure for me...actually..if u keep urself busy and out lots..then u have no time to sit at the comp~

I am horribly addicted to the internet. Its so very very bad. I'm online on average, at least 4 hours a day. Most people that post here all day long do so at work, where they get paid to sit at a computer. I do it voluntarily because I CAN'T HELP IT. Everytime I walk by this stupid thing I check to see who's online and post a couple messages.. the time just flys by. Here I am now, supposed to be in bed sleeping because I have to work tomorrow, but nooooooo I'm still up chatting on icq and posting here. DAMN YOU COMPUTER, DAMN YOU ALL TO HELL

lol Miska. 4 hours a day isn't that much - at least not by my standards. If I had money for every hour I spent online, I'd be rich.

Is there a such thing as a professional message board moderator or admin. That's a job I would want. Maybe there isn't now but there probably will be in the future.
