i was gonna go to tech bc when they first opened up...
glad i didn't, they harsh flopped...

They didn't flop.

They just became part of SFU and dropped their Management Innovations program.

And...As far as I know they are still in the Surrey Place Mall location. I'm not sure what's up with the new building.

if you went to all their seminars and got all their t-shirts before they opened up, you'd know that they didn't meet their own expectations... (omg i'm wearing a techBC t-shirt under my sweater right now... "infinite possibilities")

i had 4 friends go there and drop out after the first semester...
they only accepted 100 ppl when they first opened up, and i was one of them... but i turned it down cuz their credits weren't transferrable... they wanted way too much for tuition & courses, and offered no real guarantee that they'd last...

i'm sure now that they are under SFU's control, they'll do a lot better... and once they get their campus completed, they'll have a better image... cuz when u see a handful of zekes walking around the mall with ID tags, it looks really sad...for the students and the university...

there's 1 professor at SFU who's actually leaving SFU's faculty to teach at techBC, so i guess he thinks things will be looking up for techBC's future...
