i think it's a marketing thing ollie...if they made the whole deoderant out of the stripe ppl probably wouldn't buy it cause it is new and ppl don't like new hygiene products ( i know i sure as Hell don't...maybe you do...i don't know) so they put a stripe there, and bam people are curious (see the above posts?) and then once they make a little coin and it's going fairly well....BAM they'll have the whole stick as the stripe.

I don't think the stripe really makes a difference but since it's a colored stripe across a regular anti persprint, people are like, OHHH POWER STRIPE! It's an ADDED stripe of ODOR FIGHTING DEFENSE AGAINST SWEATING wooo!! Personally I think it's just there for decoration... "Oh look, pretty stripe! I'm sold!"
