A Lil Help on the Mercedes SEL 600

Hey I have to do a little research on this car the Mercedes SEL 600 in 1992
How much did it cost then?
And how much is the average price now?
how is it on gas?
what standard features?
I was tryign to finsd some info earlier but kidna hard.. just hopeing a few of you can help me with some information as well.. THank you Buh Bye.

it was the RR of mercedes..

top of the S class for mercedes.

4 door luxury sedan

a fucking V12 engine.

a SEL600 would now go for about.. errrr.. i was gonna convert it but u can do it urself.. $31 000 US. last time i checked.. it was that cheap at an auction...

i think the car went for about 240 000 ... i cant really remember the prices.. so i will have to confirm...

standards that i can think about on the 10 year old car....
climate control.. driver and passenger both had climate controls..
uhmm.. wood grain dash, the predecisor now, the S-Class's dash is filled with buttons and gizmos.. the SEL kept it simple.
hrmm.. seats were electronically controled... and the seat controls are like the new SL500s.. its on the door, in the shape of the seat.. 3 seating position memory.. and was heated.

oh.. it had heated winshield wiper thingys.. so they didnt freeze in winter...
OH OH.. and a electronically controlled rear view mirror (the car was criticized alot for the abundance of useless things.. that being one of it =o) )

hrmm.. what else....

oh.. if u drove a lincon town car before u would know this.. the truck of the lincon town car closes by itself when u close it.. so u just close it down, and the car grabs the trunk, and closes it by itself.. so u know when its closed... the same thing goes for the SEL 600.. but for the DOORS =o)

they had a parking guide thing like they have now...

ermm.. thats all i can think of.. did it help any ?

oh.. and the sel600 changed to the s600L later down the road =o) ..
