WOOHOO!! go me!!!
I have an interview at Vancouver General Hospital next Friday!!
and word on the street is that I'm a shoe in for the pharmacy technician position at Richmond Hospital! and i know of another position available if those two don't pan out, that *apparently* i'm qualified for, and the manager there is a friend of a friend! werd isn't it weird how when good things happen, they all happen at once? *jumps for joy* :cake: <--and it's my birthday in t-minus 22 days! werd then i am legal...can't wait :trippin: |

^^
if i got a job at a hospital (which i'm hoping for) it's between $20-$23 if i got one a retail pharmacy (ex. shoppers) then it's less...like $12-$16 and the course was only 5 months and it cost around $1100 with books but i'm planning to go to university still, i don't want to be a pharmacy technician the rest of my life, i'd like to move up to pharmacist eventually =P |

Vancouver Community College the downtown campus it's a pretty good school, just in a bad part of town it is the only school in BC that hospitals will hire straight out of, all of the other schools are geared towards retail pharmacies i really hope i get the job, the interview is 45 minutes and a 1 hour and 15 minute practical exam (english, math, aseptic techinique, drugs) |
