i failed first time because of the backing up in a straight line test
she asks me to pull over to side and then asks me to back up
so i see a car about 70 or 80m behind me
so i start backing up
apparently she didn't mean back up to that car i went backwards at like 40kph
but she DID admit that i went backwards in a perfectly straight line haha

I was suppose to fail my first road test by like 15 points but for some reason they passed me cause the guy said i got tunnel vision. I always seem to luck out like that . what is tunnel vission???

nah. the first time i took mine it was completely my goof.

we were doing the "park on a hill" thing, and the hill just happened to be one of the busiest roads here in town at the height of tourist season. so, of course, i'm waiting to find a spot to pull out into, but there's nothing! for like 5 minutes. i kid you fucking not. so i see a spot finally, but i'll only be able to make it if i accerlate fast... so i do... heh. on the hill... meaning my tires squealed. which would just give me 15 demerits or something like that... but as i was going up the hill i sort of let the spedo get over 50km/h while in my post-stationary bliss.

yeah, the next one i kicked ass on though. i'd never hit a parallel that bang on in my life before that day. oh, it was good. dude actually complimented me on it. heh.

this was before the graduated license program, though, so i haven't a clue what it's like now.

My first test couldn't have gone smoother . Instructor said it was the best test he had ever seen .
