Canada doesn't really have any say in this.
If america goes to war we go to war too.
whether we physically send troops or not we are still at war
America can declare marshal law in North America any time it wants and we aren't going to say a damn thing about it

Several other American Presidents were faced with similar situations. Let's look at Cuba as an example, although they had one unsuccessful military invasion VIA the Bay of Pigs, they never wanted the world to attack Cuba itself, which could have very well saved the world as we know it.

There's been several other occasions where as opposed to invasion, presidents have decided to impose trade sanctions, etc. until weapons inspectors are allowed in.

What most people don't get is that Bush isn't really doing this for the United State's vested interest, but rather for Israel. It seems that way anyways. The US has had their day in the sun trying to avenge those who go against them. Can we think of any other nation in the world really interested in pissing off all of the arab countries? Of course, it has to be Israel. It seems fairly obvious.

In addition , Canada should really boycott supporting the US for this whole thing until they decide to reconsider the lumber tariffs that have cost many people in Canada their jobs...

As much as a I fear the consequences of a war waged on Iraq - my fear of what would happen should the US start to suspect that their closest ally would not support them in times of duress is infinitely greater, especially considering Bush is already threatening that if Canada doesn't up the patrol of the waters around Nova Scotia that the US will "do it for them", so to speak.

My opinion, if they want to kill themselves, then let them. Why should we involve ourselves in something that's none of our business.
Canada can't offer much millitary help, so what's the point? Besides the US would probably bomb us, themselves. HA!

Honestly though I really think Bush should get the support of the UN before proceeding wih anything. I want full blown proof of everything he's claiming about Iraq.

at first i thought "nuke em and get it over with",

but now shit is getting kinda hectic.

can you believe that bush has actually tried to take power away from a man who won an election in his own country (not iraq but still pertinent), because Bush (his puppeteers) think(s) the election was unfair? SHIT MAN, WHAT ABOUT OUR ELECTION???

he bought the office and the first thing he did was drive the economy into the dirt (people are losing jobs left and right) and go to war (and who makes money off of war, his high school/college cronies of course)
