Creating a messageboard
does anyone have any idea how hard it would be to make a messageboard from scratch? it doesnt have to be fancy or anything.. just something you could post messages and have others read it..
also what kind of software or scripting languages would i have to learn? this is for a project at school john 2899131

first you would want to pick a launguage, php/perl/asp and then take it from there. now if your thinking to write this from scratch you gotta WHOLE LOTTA work ahead.. hahaha I have been into perl/php for goin on 2 years and I couldnt write a message board if my life depended on it.

You don't need anything that fancy.
Just go get some BBS software and fire up the old modem.
