famous players
my sister just found this ...
who'd ever think that we'd be wanting to sell beer... http://cbc.ca/artsCanada/stories/beer230902 |

having beer in theatres at first I thought would be wicked, but then I thought about those really annoying ppl who talk through the whole movie...and make loud noise...well just imagine them drunk.
but hey if everyone drinks...then the whole theatre is a big party. So if they do that..you MUST drink to get in the movie.:284: |

Colossus in Langley has a Lounge but you aren't allowed beer in the actual theater. I think they are looking to sell beer at concessions and allow people to bring the beer into the actual movie. Chances are they will be designating certain movies as 19+ for people who wish to drink during the show.

Isn't it more like 5? Anyway...I bet a cup of watered down beer will be about $8. |

Some people just drink to just well..have a drink..
A beer or a glass of wine or something is a nice way to unwind at the end of the day.. Most of the people who'd want to buy enough beer to get drunk inside a movie (I don't understand the point of that) wouldn't be of age anyways.. Regardless, this province has fucked up enough liquor laws that they'd find some way to disallow it , sadly. M |

It if it came to pass it would be very, very strictly regulated. There would be a designated 19+ theatre area, and no drinks would be allowed in after the show started. Those regulations would be to, hopefully, prevent minors from drinking, and to prevent over-abuse. It's hard to get to get drunk to the point of being obnoxious and/or vomitting when you can't really drink more than one beer, unless you shotgun a bunch before the movie starts.

Ok, first off. Collosus Langley has a "bar" about concession. There business is brisk and most of the people up there are of the business type.
You don't see mean punk ass 19 year olds cuz its the alcohol is quite pricy. But if you think about it, going to watch a NHL or CFL game they offer alcohol. So I don't see why they couldn't offer it @ a movie theatre. M!iska - I have your sticker somewhere. I will give it 2 u @ spooky if I can find it. Quote:
