There's a lot of jobs out there. You just gotta spiff up your resume and throw it out everywhere, see who replies, and you should get some replies. Everyone's hiring, since the summer is coming up. I can prolly hook you up with a job at a cafe, but it's in the UBC area. I'm going to start working there sometime soon. It's just opening...branching off from the place that I've worked for the past 2 summers. Make coffee/bubble tea/serve food, shiznik like that...but that's prolly WAY too far away from you. Look in the paper too, cause I know there's places hiring in Coquitlam. :) There's always video rental places or hand car washes. *shrugs* I'll keep my eye out for you and let you know if I see anything hun.

well, my advice is to check save on or safeway.... i work at save on in north van, and we're always hiring...

and it's a pretty safe job to have. i'm a cashier, and well, you probably wont want to be one, but there are always tons of postitions, like in produce and stuff where you really don't have to do ANYTHING... like, put apples on the shelf, anc cut watermelons... hahahah

but they're always hiring, and the starting wage for cashier is like, $8.60 now i think, and the other positions start lower. the actual overweaighte (sp???) food group company thing is a good company to work for, and because you're part of a union, they can't fire you unless you steal or something... like, you can show up late or call in sick 5 times a month, and you're still okay

plus, hours are usually pretty flexible

but yes..back to the subject...

there's some student employemnt centers.. i went there to look and they did have alot of jobs..but nothing i could do...there was some warehouse work.. but they did have lots of things for like..working at places like boston pizza..that wouldn't be so bad...plus u get tips.. (the good thing bout restaurants)

but it all really depends what you want...

and i'm not sure where you could apply cuz i'm not quite sure wher eyou live.. but places like save on and safeway are always hiring... (like many ppl have said)


i'd say try soemwhere like the student emplyment centre thing...
i don't have the address on meeh (not sure if you wanna travel to surrey....to go their...) but if you do want it.. (they hav eltos of job things listed that aren't listed in places like the newspaper.. they also have a casual work program where you fill out a thing and whenever you wanna work you call them up and they'll find you a job for the day..and these jobs usually last around 1-5 days...
