legalize Marijuana?

To legalize or not to legalize? That is the question. Personally, I am a pot somker. Why? Cause I enjoy sitting back, muchin out, completly spaced out. Either way, legal or not people are going to smoke pot. Only if it were to be legalized there will be much less of a black market. You could waltz into the store, and pick up a back of Blunts. There is the true dream. I beleive we should be able to buy, and smoke marijuana, as we deem fit.

What Do You Think???

It's basically legal here anyway. I dont know many other places where you can just walk down a street smokin a joint and not a single person caring.

I say they might as well just legalize it and get it over with, legally now in small doses its like jay walking.

And id definitely go to the store and buy a carton of blunts. It would definitely cuts back alot of peoples cigarette smokin.

if they legalize marijuana, you wouldn't be about to grow it wherever you wanted and do whatever you wanted with it.. they would have laws, rules and regulations... they would want to grow it themselves and have you BUY it from them.. with taxes added to it of course.. the only real reason the government is thinking about legalization is the $$$..

If you sectioned off half your room to grow it, most likely you would still be doing something illegal..

Don't legalize it. It'd make it easiar for idiots with money to get high. The government will be getting money from it, they'll be the ones growing it, not lil thug dealers. Again with the quality and whatnot, they become the distributers of them, they choose the quality, and chances are, it's not going to be top of the line stuff... I hope they lace it with rat poison.

Then again I don't smoke pot so it won't affect me directly, but damn I hate stoners.

people should be able to make up there own mind, if it were to be legalized, you could either say, "roll it up and smoke it" or dont buy it. I would like to make the decision myself. NOT THE GOVERNMENT

Legalize it NOW!

I saw that video on www.pottv.net where the Canadian Senate reccomended legaizing it. But the way they talk about it, it might take forever. Any update?

In Nevada there's a ballot initiative for legalization but for some dumb reason it has to be approved both in November 2002 and 2004.

Why does all of this have to take so long?

I heard some Americans are getting political assylum in Canada for medical marijuana.

I bet if Canada legalizes, there's gonna be Americans running across the border the way Mexicans run across the U.S. border.

uhh..

Why bother legalizing it?

Do any of you have a real problem trying to obtain it?

didn't think so.

uhh..

we could also probably save some tax dollars seeing that police wouldn't have to bother setting up drug busts and housing big-time marijuana dealers in prison or whatnot.

I keep hearing about the senate's report and what not.

There is something you have to keep in mind when it comes to the senate. Nobody listens to them. Ever. They are a forgotten part of government. A group of old men appointed by the prime minister way back when, who stay there till they die.

Chances are they created the report so someone would discuss the senate again. I mean if i worked on the senate, I would be hella lonely...

Seriously, the senate have suggested some pretty crazy shit in the past...

it doesn't matter if they don't listen to their suggestions, Senates' authorizations are still required in order to create amendments to the Constitution of Canada.
