Whats the most important thing to you in a good party?

i say DJ's/performers... mainly because good music will make my night and the performers are the ones who are in control

but sound system comes to a VERY close second

atmosphere. then the music. all of the components of a party are all sort of rounded up to make the atmopshere though. caught.

I can't decide between DJ's, sound and people. light show doesn't really do much for me. lol.
obviously the music plays a big part, thats why i go in the first place. but if the dj's awesome and the sound is shit, it takes away from the music so sound is essential. but then if the people are horrid they bring down the vibe, so people are important too.

You can have the best DJ's in the world but a shitty, bleeding, scheechy sound system it would make them sound like rookies.

However, you can put a CD in a room with a wicked sound system and no one would probably car and dance away the night.

People are important and I could care less about the visuals.

i'll say people are not very important.... i say this since its never been important to me the time i've been in the scene and for all my friends i started party with... most of them pretty much went for the social aspect and theyre all completely outta the scene... theres many reasons behind it which i can give but lets hear some other opinions

okay I actually voted for people, because there could be shitty music, shitty sound, shitty lighting, but I always have an awesome time when my friends are there, and when everyone's just having a good time

people FOR SURE. before i thought it was all music and venue (dancing wise).. but after goin to a few good parties with horrible ppl i know PPL IS A HUGEE PART TO IT ALL. having the wrong crowd jsut ruins everything. people brings in the vibe..the vibe is wut i feed off. okay tats really corny but true.

meowmix is a wonderful example.. if i transported all my friends to the island that nite...that party would easily been a sweet ass party. instead i was surrounded by glowsticks.

but really, it's the type of crowd the type of event attracts that is usually the selling point.

I find myself asking that question many times; what does a rave offer that I can't get elsewhere? No matter what, everything that is offered at a rave is available at other places or environments.

Electronic music: have plenty of at home
People: plenty of them to socialize with all over the world
Sound Systems: Many nightclubs and/or concerts offer equally, if not better, systems
Lights & Visuals: See above

However, what a rave does offer that no other place can is the fact all of these attributes are there at the same time. That is the most important thing in a party for me.

I find its the overall vibe of the party combining all elements, if ones really strong than other can be a bit weaker, the best party is when everything is insanely good....but i dont think i could just pick one thing that makes the party awsome. its all elements

i think that they all come hand in hand and together its the best....i voted people because if there are shitty people it totally brings the vibe down which alters how you feel....they are all pretty close tho.....the music is the main thing tho....without music its just pointless pretty much....sound system is important too...crappy sound system...the musics not as great
