Repeat any word enough and it begins to sound really wierd.
Your brain goes into mantra mode, you space out and lose the connection between the sound and the meaning for a bit, and it just sounds like the wierdest word ever. Oh yah and my favorite wierd words are strabusmus and falafel. Ham's pretty good too. Last edited by Rytalin; Dec 26, 04 at 01:48 AM. |

v. Third person singular present indicative of be. if we start using quantum logic, i.e. instead of the common two logical conclusions, true or false, there are three conclusions: true, false or maybe. In this system, which probably more accurately describes the real world, the entire idea of "being" drastically changes, one philosopher even goes as far to suggest that we should irradicate the usage of the word "is" completely if we want to accurately describe any situation, since we can never truly know whether or not something truly "is" 5 feet away for example, we only know the probability of that something being 5 feet away. Not that anybody will follow up on this, but if you're so inclined to read some rather enlightening discourse regarding the way we really should look at the world on a day to day basis thanks to (somewhat old now) advances in physics, the above ideas came from: "Quantum Psycology" - Robert Anton Wilson |
