ok yes i think we should get some people together early morning, bake a bunch of stuff and then eat a lot of it... and then go downtown or somewhere and give some food to the homeless people!!

I did that like 2 years ago..

good luck findin some homeless that will take it..

they don't trust any one walking the streets really just givin them food, they think its poisonned or something.. (so one of them told me) and yeah.. but my friend ollie gave them all socks :)

but the guy on robson and howe.. with aids.. what a greedy lil'bugger.. he wants it all!HA

I agree with J'nette...the homeless tend to stay away from food and would rather have warm clothes and blankets.

I AM down for a baking session though, just for ourselves:) I'm not very good. hehe. except for the moco balls. and the cookies that I'm ordering from my sister's cookie dough sales from school. mmmm all I have to do is put them into the oven and watch em bake:D. white choco chunk. *Drooool*

ok, well we wont be doing it until december - like a christmas kind of thing. or well we could do it TWICE or THREE times ...

but WARM clothes would be nice : extra scarves and mittens and hats and WARM stuff ... blankets - or yea you get the point.


and if we wanted to do food, maybe we could volunteer to help out at a free food place and serve food or something ...

i love your idea about making cookies and sweets to eat and treat! i was going to make soup with my exbf and give it to the woodward squatters, but it fell through.

i have so many extra blankets and clothes to give away.

my friend worked at indigo books and one day we took all the leftover baked goods and sandwiches and offered them to people downtown and to our surprise... only a few people actually accepted them.
we ended coming home with bags of food that fucking homeless people wouldnt take!! like wtf?
