Online record shopping is the devil
the phrase "add to cart" holds a different meaning now as i push myself closer and closer to bankruptcy.
In the month of October i have spent over 800$ online, and another 400$ tonight. This is not good whenu can barely make ends meet. I'm not bragging here, i seriously need help. I can't stop listening to samples online.. (ok.. last one, just one more.. ohh wait, whats that, must have a quick listen, ohh thats pretty) I am seeking help, is there any RA (recordaholic anonym) clubs. how can i stop this addiction.... DUDE. IM FUCKED. im right there with you. i spent 700$ in two weeks once. right now i have no money. and im 3000$ in debt. all on vinyl...visa owns my soul.
and guess what? i picked up my paycheck on friday, by saturday at 4:30 in the afternoon i had $4 left....all on vinyl... :soak:

The worst thing you can do is cut up your credit card.. then you have NOOO way to get your credit back up.. you have to pay off what you owe, and then use your credit card for small things, but pay it off right away to bring your credit rating back up, or else you credit is fucked for the rest of your life!

ohgod.. I just joined the club.... I spent $400 last night on my MOMS credit card.. she is going to freak when she gets the bill.... I have the money to pay her, but when she finds out how much I acutally spent... oh god, I can sense a finacial savings lecture coming..

but i'm choked at them.. they held my record since oct 16, i got it today (there was a canadian custom stamp Oct16)

djbonez, u have problems with djmr.com. i buy tons of stuff off there, never had a problem. i am in the same boat as ninewells, my credit card is racked because when i sample good music i cant say no, its an addiction. i fear the $8500 credit line the bank just gave me
may god have mercy on my bank account.

Has anyone ever ordered from chemical records in the UK?? I've heard that they take a while to arrive, but the problem that I have been having is that my credit card keeps declining... is it because it is in the UK?? this is a brand new credit card as well, so it definitely isn't over its limit or anything...

yeah i've had mad issues with chemical
everytime i've ordered off em i'm been assraped with customs. they have a good selection and all but getting charged 8 bucks and recieving the package a month after ordering it is just straight up bullshit. but once after revieving a late order, i found out that 1 record was missing out of the 6 records i payed for.... so i let chemical know and guess what... 4 days later i recieve the ENTIRE package again... so i have doubles of all the records except for the missing one =p hehehe

all dnb or whut? LDUB- i had that problem for a while too.. i Ended up calling visa. Felt like a big ass after. The way the pull down arrow came down down for the expiration date on the site i was ordering from was fucked, it kinda skipped january.. so i was like 1,2,3,4,5,6 and 7 and not thinking about what month the 7 month was.. I don't think that made sense.. ohh well.

did you get the credit card on our own.. or was it co-signed
I've heard of problems when co-signing with your parents.. i can't remember the details.. but it limits the card from online use or something What kind of credit card is it? Have you tried on from a different Bank?

its a mastercard.. the guy from chemical records e-mailed me saying that he phoned mastercard and the only reason that they are denying it is because it is an international payment... so I have to phone them and straighten it out first. I also tried a visa and it came back the same.
