whoa.......i didn't even realise that it was near rememberance day.

i wrote this after i learnt someting i didn't know about the hiroshima bombing. apparently, there were a few cities to choose from based on the overall cities that were bombed conventionally. kyoto was the original city selected. but the general in charge of the manhattan project used to live in kyoto, and convinced the committee to bomb hiroshima instead.

I visited the memorial in Hiroshima...

Probably the most eye opening thing I have ever seen. Really makes you realise how devastating it was. Amazing memorial full of sculptures, pictures, and video, but so sad.
