My parents told me a long time ago that they don't want gifts or 'trinkets' from us as they view them as a waste of our hard earned money.
So what my siblings and I do is pool our money together and have a nice big, long family dinner somewhere. Trust me, the grandparents love it when they are surrounded by their children and grandchildren. IMO, that type of love is the best present anyone can give. |

i dunno what im getting my old grand folks is chocolates and a chapters gift card; they have everything else in the world already.
for my parents i havent the slightest clue, im thinking a trip somewhere tho for them. Either that or a digi cam. |

Best present I ever got anyone...and it wasn't even that expensive...I went thru (when they weren't around) my friend's photos and took 12 pictures of her son (who was 7 at the time and lives with his father outside the city) and took to Kinko's and they make a calander of it...so she could see her son every day of the year...
