Ahhh..the infamous foam parties. I did not know that they excited in Vancouver. I have heard many stories about them from friends who went to Mexico.

oh yeha and the commodore is the shit..its pretty big its really nice and it has a awesome sound/light system.

i think we need a superclub in vancouver. like in Canada place or in the new exhibiton centre/crusise ship dock their planning next to it...that would be awesome since theres not many people living there except for the richies in coal harbour..they might get upset.

I think we need what we have able to stay open till 4am (when they want to) and we need transit to run 24/7. Even if it's one bus an hour late through the night. That way on a Friday night we could go out and party knowing that it won't get broken up, the music will be good, the sound will be good and overheads wouldn't be to bad for the promoters. Most of all though we really need better transit... if people can't get there than the night can't happen.

staying open till 4am would be killer because promoters would'nt have to spend the money on all night permits, they would have $$$ to pull out bigger names for clubnights, but too bad we have WAY too many small clubs that fit like 200 people and like only 1 or 2 that are decent Huge Venue + 4am would = FUNFUNFUN :smoke1:

Thats a good idea, even having a bus run every half hour to an hour would help ALOT and would definately cut down on drunk driving. From what I heard they used to have a bus that ran from downtown to UBC till like4-ish on fridays and/or saturdays but it cancelled since it promoted going out to bars/clubs and getting drunk. Im not completely sure about this tho, but I wouldnt be surprised looking at the city's demented view on nightlife.

All that needs to happen seriously is to run the freaking skytrains till after the clubs close! It would lower on the amount of DUI deaths and would make life ALOT easier!!! Translink claims they cannot afford it etc... MAYBE they should not paint all the fukking busses again!!!!!!!!! THEY LOOK FINE!

54 is in the same building as a Skytrain station... but it's weird because at like 12:40 am a whack of the people leave. It makes no sense... like isnt public transit there to reduce drinking and driving?
