funky, ass shakin' disco shieeeett!!!
well since its been atleast a week since the last time i reminded you guys how much i love funky music ive decided to make this post...
i mean shit, how can you get any better then such life affirming music as disco. all the songs have inspirational sayings about love, keeping your head up, setting your goals and keep on pushing, till you reach the top. its impossible to listen to some disco house and be unhappy, hmm perhaps ive stumbled upon a possible solution to the strife occuring around the world, disco house and six billion caps of E. hmm i sure i wouldn't want to be around for the day after...it just dosn't stop at house, or disco, all funky music stirs the soul, wether its in the forms of breakbeat or the classic shit like rick james, george clinton and that old black guy that likes to shout wierd shit and grab his balls, you know the guy im talking about, not micheal jackson but the older drug addict guy, who sings that song about feeling good, just like you should. i just can't remember his name for the life of me. cuz its all about that wonky bassline and fucked up synth, throw in some vocals, a piano or sax sample or two and your set....you know, if i had a clue about production, id even go as far as infusing trance with funk, this may be a an impossible task but im sure with a few lucky charms like like rick james's hair pick, or his crack stash ill be able to accomplish the task.....you know, sometimes i wish i were black just so i can grow an afro.
