damn commercialism bringing back the 80's for kids who dont appreciate them.
I've noticed more and more lately that the 80's are becomming more blantently aapearing in stores everywhere. Things when i was a child now are remodled for the new generation who instead would rather watch the fucking weird shows of today.
I think its cool and all and i know the whole 20 year marketing thing, but a piece of me gets kut when i go into toys r us and see the remodled gi joe and heman. I'm even seeing stuffed ninja turtles in some areas. Why cant they just keep these htings vintage. And this whole care bear out break?? i dunno its irratating but at the same time for the few kids who might enjoy these things it might actually be good. |

POPPLES. There are new POPPLES. But they're not REAL Popples. They have patterns and shit on them.
This girl I know bought one. I couldn't believe it. Kids these days don't even KNOW what a Popple is. I feel like I've been raped of my childhood :( |

One thing that pisses me off about Transformers is that they cancelled Dark Minds, quite possibly one of the best recent-ish comics out there so they could focus on Transformers... DIE! Now I will never know who the killer is, or why he's leaving severed heads in hospitals.... RELJRLAKJREALKJRAELKJRALKJFALK.

i think they actually did make the pit for heman they have all the old shit...even the pather and tiger for each side...as well as the remodeled lairs and things..i think they are weird looking tho....
and yeah whats up with the funky popples...??? i have even seen cabbage patch kids floating aorund but i dont think thats new... but yeah the main urge is the kids today dont even know what the show were like and i so have to admit watching some old ones now its like what was i thinking cus scooby doo does blow the big one...as does like thundercats and hsit, but they are wholesome forms of entertainment that kept us busy as childern on those rainy days... and nothing can beat the old skool transformers... |
