How to bathe your cat
The following are instructions on the best way to bathe your cat:
1. Thoroughly clean the toilet. 2. add the required amount of shampoo to the toilet water, and have both the lid lifted. 3. obtain the cat and soothe him while you carry him towards the bathroom. 4. In one smooth movement, put the cat in the toilet and close both lids (you may need to stand on the lid so that he cannot escape) CAUTION: Do not get any part of ur body too close to the edge, as his paws will be reaching out to grab anything they can find. The cat will selfagitate and make ample suds. Never mind the noises that come from your toilet, the cat us actually enjoying this. 5. Flush the toilet 3 or 4 times. This provides a "powerwash and rinse" which i have found to be quite effective. 6. Have someone apen the door to the outside and ensure that there are no people between the toilet and the outside door. 7. Stand behind the toilet as far as u can, and quickly lift both lids. 8. the now-clean cat will rocket out of the toilet and run outside where he will dry himself. Sincerely, The Dog |

this is what my exgurlfriend used to do:
she would place the cat in the bathtub, no water in it at the time. she would then "cage" the cat with one of those rubbermaid laundry baskets. the water then would be turned on and filled just enough so that the cat could still breathe while standing. she would then swish the basket back and forth across the length of the bathtub. it looked so traumatic!! first, having the feeling of being drowned to death in a cage. AND having the cage move on you, making u smash in to all of the walls. no matter the cat liked me more than her. |

Phhht! Amatuers!
Just put the cat in the washing machine, shut the lid and come back when the spin cycle's over. If you use fabric softner it comes out extra soft n snuggly fresh... For up to 5 days! Bwhahahaa!!! lol just kiddin' I love cats... Thats why I'd just put em in a kennel and go nutz with tha garden hose! Last edited by EzTone; Nov 24, 02 at 10:04 PM. |

that's what you have to do to my dog to get her in the tub.. like chase her around and pick her up and bring her to the bathroom.. she won't even go in the bathroom if someone else is in there.. it's funny.. hehe but she's not washed in a laundry basket or anything.. hehe |

haha, that's fucking funny Vanessa!
funny you mentioned that, i acually gave clover (brandi's cat) a bath on friday night! this is how i did it: 1. start running water, testing the temperature until just about luke-warm. 2. grab the cat 3. gentally, place the cat into the tub 4. skweeze a dimes worth of shampoo into your hands, at the same time, reasuring the cat that everything is ok 5. lather the cats whole body with shampoo, watching out for the eyes, mouth, ears, genital and anus 6. rinse the cat under the tab, except for his/ her head, use a facecloth for that. 7. drain bathtub 8. grab cat with towel and dry i did this, and i didn't get a single scratch on me. sure it was an unplesant experiance for the cat, but at least now he smells like herbal essinsese, which is cool cause brandi's house stinks now! |
