Who has gotten it done? Does it hurt like a bitch?? I'm thinking bout getting mine done in July with my friend, but I'm scared! :032: We're thinking bout getting it at Next.
I think I'm getting my tattoo at Next too. Most probably of this Chinese symbol I saw there that says "beginning, end"...my boy is getting a matching one. Where should I get it? I'm thinking somewhere on my back...

i was gonna get mine done last year summer. but i can't. tongue tied. rarrrr. so i have to get this part cut off first. sounds icky. but i decided i'm going through with it anyways. i think i'm going to get it done for summer.... 18th b-day soon! ;] yah.

i've had my tongue peirced for 8 months now...yes it did hurt...and my tastebuds aren't wut the use to be. plus i've been sick on and off since november. i dunno if my sickness has to do with the peircing but i cut down on partying and i'm still sick.
ah well...u'd hafto kill me to make me take this baybee out...i love it! i'd say go for it hun! i'll come hold ur hand if u want!:) rowdy*

oh yah.
oh yah. i watched my friend ryan get his done, and since my hand isn't broken. i'm guessing it wasnt THAT bad. just a needle getting poked through the tongue. its pretty sharp. and takes about 15, 25 seconds. no worries.

dont do it its all bad i was going to get it done,and i even went threw the minor tounge tie surgery i got it cut so i could get it pierced.BUT ya see the scary thing about it is that once you get that piercing its never the same,just like rowdy was saying bout her xperiences.PLUS once you get it done that piercing is always exposed as a open wound IN YOU MOUTH(it heals if you take it out but your tounge has lost some sences)Think about it b4 you do it.bactirea will grow inside the whole on your tounge nomatter how many times you brush your tounge or rinse with mouthwash,so if ya do best of luck with keeping it clean........:028:

Yeah, I've thought about the whole bacteria thing before. Hmmmm...*still contemplating* I have til the end of July to make a decision, cuz if I DO get one, I wanna get it with my homegurl Shannon.
As for the tattoo, I can't wait to get it done! I'm thinking somewhere on my back, but I'm not sure which portion. Either R/L shoulder (on my back)...or on my lower back...either R/L side or in the center. What do you guys think? :023:

I got mine done. It's the easiest piercing in my life. Had like belly rings and ear rings and tattoo. MAN it was LOW maintenance and u got to have fresh breath. Downfall is that there is a possibility of having ur speech altered a bit. :P Pfft guys'll just think ur nervous. But all in all it was good. I went to Underground. It was GREAT. lindsay was fabulous. very soothing. :P~~~ u'll drool tho. So bring a bib. :) good luck. Oh and tattoos go to sacred hart. They play it straight. Not a bad place to go unless u talk to the receptionist. Pfft what a bitch. the tattooist was nice. :)

oh..btw..it's not considered an open wound for ever....
it's 2 years...and after that it's no longer considered an open wound. i learned about it in science cuz teh whole STD thingie. and after 2 years it's no longer an open wound. and the reason you prolly got sick off and on..for whoever it was *i forgot* is cuz it was an open woudn but after 2 years it should prolly stop and you'llb e fine.. i want mine don.e.but i'm not aloud..

Go for it..it's alllll good...even 4 me, and i'm harsh pussy when it cums 2 needles..I got mine done this December...my mum FLIPPED but i'm like 'dude, it's my body, it's my choice'...shes totally casj now. I got it done at First on Granville by Bear (*hugz*...he made the experience and atmosphere very soothing) His voice goes SOOOOO deep and low, that u feel like your in a trance.....I have my naval and ears done too (at other places) and they hurt more..i think because they didn't relax me...it's partly physcological, and if u calm your self as much as possible and get a good piercer, your experience should be fine...
....your tongue will swell up like a muthafucka the next day...it looks like a BIG FAT PINK slug in your mouth (it's hard to talk..i sounded harsh retarded, cuz u can't pernounce certain letters)...the swelling should go down in a week...advil (has anti-inflammitary components, so it helps to bring da swell'n down)...also suck on ice... ...i rinsed my mouth out 4-5 times a day....i wusn't that careful w/it, and yet it didn't get infected or nething (like ice said, it is very low maintanance)...i absolutly LOVE it, it's a pimp pierceing, + i think it looks coo...G'LUCK:001: Last edited by Jul-E; Apr 12, 01 at 09:03 AM.

hmmm the only piercing ive ever considered gettin was my eye brow...but now too many people that i know got it so i decided not too...but i am gettin a tattoo...it's gonna be my scottish coat of arms on the back of my right shoulder...it's sweet...this circular thing that has this latin shit on it sayin like pro liberte or something and it has this armoured arm in the center of it holdin this sword and shit...so sweet...i mite get another one later on my chest..but i haven't decided yet...

Do eet!!! It doesn't hurt much.... hehe, well 4 me it didn't... but when my friend got herz dun she went 2 this dirty lil tatoo place n it looked like it hurt like a bitch! Blood, tearz n slobber every where! *eww* haha, awww, poor lisa-poo...
But I went 2 Next, and they're really good there! (u even get aromatherapy b4 2 calm u! *hehe*) It didn't hurt much (I wuz pleasantly surprised after witnessing lisa's experience...) and I'm a wuss when it comes 2 pain! So just make sure u go 2 a good piercing place and it'll all b good! : ) Good luk! *hugz* ~breezy

here's the thing with piercings..
the actual piercing doesn't usually hurt.. it's usually the aftermath.. like getting your tongue pierced. I don't have it done, but i know lots of people who do. and they tell me that biting your tongue hurts more than the needle going through it but then again, it all depends on your pain tolerance. when you get it, remember to use listerine and keep it clean.. also, keep in mind that you could cause some dental problems if you play it with too much I know people who's teeth are chipping cuz of it.. and dental insurance won't cover the damage if it's caused by your tongue ring.. hope this helps! --Joanne :P

Thanks you guys. I think I'll get it...I'm pretty sure my pain tolerance is pretty high. I'm sooo used to getting needles in the hospital. They used to jab IVs into me and miss my veins a million times before they got it in. *hehe* Nothing'll hurt more than that. :032:

what ever that is..... anywasys........i would never get my tongue pierced first : to scared second : to scared three : to scared and four : my parent's won't like HA! four dayam good reasons not to get my tongue pierced but tatoos are dope.....you sould get those indian inks called hanyi or some shit.....it's really good it's just like a really tatoo.....but you put it on yourself and it's fake...it doensn't come off until HALF A YEAR! it's reallly good.....so if you don't like it........you can get it off......unlike a tatoo
