oh so ghetto
hahaha instant noodles are the best! hahah if your really ghetto then don't get the ones in the styrofoam containters cuz that costs you bout 30 cents each and the ones in the regualr square ones are 10 cents.. hahaha nothing like 3 "square" meals a day! ahahah
if you like meats.. go to stupidstore and pick up a box..yes box.. of pork ends for like 2bux.. and it's like a big ass box too.. pick off the fat b4 you cook it and YUMMY you have massive amounts of bacon for a fraction of the price! looking for asain food??? go to T&T on a sunday and reicieve free samples of fine azn cuizine! still more ghetto! do wut i do.. rice and actual kimchi! ahahah meal of tha koreans! ahahahaha kimchi can be made at home for like dirt cheap ... and you can steal rice from neigbors! ahahah |
|

true, stolen children are a cheap protein source!
other than that, meat is usually pretty expensive... try making some yummy rice... i'm such a bad cook but even i can make really good fried rice with vegetables and egg... mmmmm or heat up a tortilla and throw cheese and veggies and beans and salsa on it or perogies... get some frozen perogies and heat them up... yum yum yum those are all pretty simple and better for you than KD and not too expensive i think |
|
|||
mm perogies are dope..i eat those things like every day!! the cheese and potatoe ones....hehe so easy!! Just boil em in water for 3 minutes..or put some butter in a pan and fry em (fried is best) then put some whipped cream on to and they're gooood..
hm..but as for things that you don't really have to cook..go pick up some like alphaghettie...beefaroni....that kinda stuff... it's all easy y'know just put it in the microwave (but alphaghettie is good straight outta the can...haha) or eggs...they're easy... (they're good for your face 2) hehe or patty melts are easy..just get rye bread...cheese slices...(mustard if you like) and those frozen meat pattie s(pretty cheap)...just make hte meat patty on teh bread..almost like ahamburger but it takes like 10 minutes and they're good!! hehe yummy..i like live off those adn perogies..hehe |

haha... I know lots of ghetto food ideas. ok, this is steve's secret recipe... stolen off a friend that is. It doesn't take as long as it sounds. Only problem is for the chicken to cook. buy those 25c noodle packets, like 2 or 3... buy a thing of chicken. some vegatbles, and buy some teriyaki sauce. boil noodles, and cook chicken on a grill or something. then drain noodles, cut up chicken and throw everything else in and mix. It's quiet tasty... and is fast to make... TOTALLY GHETTO food is like... cottage cheese with an apple... lol.. carbos and protein... haha...

Okay, this is stretching the idea of ghetto, but it's good and easy to make. And cheap too!!!
Trust me, they eat this in one form or another in Compton. So if they eat it in the ghetto, you know it's GUHHEEEEETTO. 100% MUTHA FUCKIN' GUHHEEEEEEEEEEEEETO. I know you're a vegetarian, but just hear me out. 1 package of bone in medium sized pork chops(about 5 or 6 pieces around $5-6) Aboot 40 cloves of garlic(seriously) diced badly A couple tablespoons of soy suace A bit of extra virgin olive oil A lot(!) of pepper 1 Bay Leaf Some Thyme Some Parsley A little bit of vinegar(not too much, beer is already acidic) One pint of Rickard's Red Mix everything together in a Tupperware container. Including meat. Store in fridge for at least(!) a week. The acidity of the vinegar and beer will start to break the muscle fibres in the chops, tenderizing them badly. If you want you can score the chops and rub the seasoning into the crevices. This will please the tongue as well as the eye in one fell swoop. Chuck that shit on the barbeque and baste it with Bull's Eye. I like to serve it with rice. Fresh, straight out of the rice cooker rice. If you really want to get adventurous, this is what I do. I get bell peppers(yellow, green and red), julliene them, baste in soy sauce and sautee them in canola oil. Top it with fresh black pepper and you're done. Serve it as a side dish accompanying your rice. Then you can blanch some asparagus in salted water. They come out bright green and crunchy. Serve them perpendicular to the peppers, laying them on top. Make sure the vegeatables get enough pepper. You can never have enough pepper. This will cost no more than 15 bux. Trust me, pork is good. Just cut off all the fat. -Dwight:Somatic: |
