small web & graphic design courses

I'm wondering if anyone knows of any short courses on web or graphic design. And not like basic html because i know all that crap. I need more advanced and technical stuff but i'm not about to go for a year and a half of full time school for it.

I just got a book for photo shop 6 from the Library. If I knew you I would give you a "speciel" photo shop disk for you to have:)

The best way to learn is self taught... IMO of course. Sit down, mess around with different programs, and figure it out all by yourself. There are TONS of tutorial pages online.... and most for... FREE.

I'm allready doing photoshop. I was going to photocopy the book from my school and burn the cd. But thanks to you now i just have to find myself a copy of it in the library and burn myself a cd haha.

And I am planning on teashing myself most of it. I'm not planning on making it a career, just something to make a few extra bucks and so I can make my own webpage for my future business and other things.

Considering i'm not the most organized or motivated (ok i have motivation but things still dont get done) I figure finding a few classes for the harder shit might be the fastest way to actually get things done.
