Windows that break on their own??
So apparently Montana, Sero and Rez were sitting on the couch watching a movie when they heard a loud cracking thud sound. They looked over and sure enough the window near our patio door looked like a spider web. Nothing hit it, nothing flew into it and nobody was near it. The concierge stated it had happened to a few other suites.
Weird shit. Pictures attached: |

yeah i heard highrises are set on springs so they weave slightly so incase of a major earthquake they would sway and not sink or fall over.
and that if you are on the top floor during windstorms and such you can actually feel the building swaying slightly creepy huh? |

have you ever watched tall highrises during a storm? you can see them moving. its insane.
An engineer came to one of our math classes in high school, and told us about how the second floor of multi-story buildings is the worst to live on because all the reinforcements are put on the first floor. So if there was ever an earthquake, the second floor would collapse because it won't be able to support the weight of the floors above it. Last edited by M!SKA; Dec 03, 02 at 03:16 PM. |

ya so we are out on the balcony , mindin our own business, when , boom, the window just shatters, what a trip, we were smokin a havana too, i thought someone was shootin at us or sum shit, but only the inside pane broke, i think it has something to do with the building tightening up in the cold weather, what a trip tho, kewl effect on the pics tho

haha I thought that first pic was some crazy space shit or something too.
But yah its most likely pressure or something to do with the earthquakes we've been having. That is some trippy shit though. And a mirror doing it is even wierder, its not holding the pressure of the surrounding structure, or have any air temperature pressure to fuck with it. Thats wierd. |
