Most computer shops and Futureshop/Bestbuy/etc. etc. usually have universal adaptors, and they're usually cheaper as well. A new Toshiba adaptor is usually $80-100, and a universal one could usually be found for about $60.

"Universal" is a relative term, of course. The back of the box should list which notebooks it works with. Toshiba is a pretty major brand, so you shouldn't have too much trouble finding a universal one that works with your laptop.

OKAY IF THIS IS TRUE THIS IS WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO:

YOU NEED TO FIND AN OLD TRANSISTOR RADIO, THE OLDER THE BETTER
YOU NEED A PHILLIPS SCREWDRIVER PACK, THIS IS CRUCIAL
MAYBE A 9 VOLT OR A PACK OF AA'S
ALSO, YOU NEED A BAG OF KOSHER SALT
A ROOKIE MISTAKE IS THAT PEOPLE WILL MARIANTE THE STEAKS, OR THROW THEM ON THE GRILL WHEN THEY ARENT AT ROOM TEMPERATURE
THIS IS A MISNOMER AND WILL HIDE THE TASTE OF THE MEAT
HEAT UP YOUR OVEN TO THE HIGHEST TEMPERATURE (USUALLY 500 F) AND PLACE THE IRON SKILLET IN THERE TO HEAT UP, IT WILL TAKE A WHILE
WHILE THIS IS HAPPENING, RUB THE STEAK THOROUGHLY ON BOTH SIDES WITH THE KOSHER SALT (THE FLAKYNESS OF KOSHER SALT ALLOWS FOR A BETTER RUB

MAYBE PUT SOME OLIVE OIL ON THERE TOO, JUST TO BE SAUCY)
PUT THE PAN ON A LIT BURNER AND THEN PLACE THE STEAK IN THE PAN. DONT TOUCH IT FOR ABOUT 2 MINUTES, THE STEAK IS BEING AWESOME

AFTER THAT IS DONE YOU FLIP IT OR SOMETHING, FUCK THIS IM GOING TO BED.

you can buy a universal power supply from most places.

they come with like 12 different "tips" and variable voltages so you can run pretty well any laptop off of them.

Be prepared to spent $80+ for one, though.

THERE ARE TWO ACTS HERE

ACT 1: SEARING BOTH SIDES OF THE MEAT IN YOUR PAN
ACT 2: PUTTING THE STEAK UNDER THE BROILER OF YOUR OVEN TO COOK THE INSIDE

RARE OR WELL DONE, NOBODY WANTS A DRY STEAK, ACT 1 TAKES CARE OF THAT, BUT DOES NOT COOK THE STEAK MUCH

ACT 2 IS WHERE YOU COOK YOUR STEAK TO HOW YOU WANT IT, USUALLY 3-8 MINUTES DEPENDING ON HOW RARE YOU LIKE IT
