Toronto didn't make the playoffs... is there a point to living??? Ah yes, its called beer.
Seriously though, if Toronto played the Sabres, profits from that series would go through the roof seeing as Toronto is the team that everyone loves to hate, and that the cities are less than an hour's drive apart. Gotta feel bad for Mats Sundin, to miss the playoffs 2 years in a row with Toronoto, seems like he always busts his ass for that team and they go nowhere in return. Oh well, I guess his golf game will get a good fine-tuning. |

^ Dude, did you see the game Tampa played against us? They looked like they hadn't been acquainted with the concept of defense. They don't have a top rated goalie. They slipped in the standings late in the year. They are playing a veteran team with a goaltender who was not only arguably the best all season, but is also in the conversation regarding "best of all time".
I'd stake my life on it: they are not getting past the Devils. I agree with you about the west though. No cinderella stories there. |

I was actually laughing out loud while watching the Islanders game. Toronto must have been shitting there pants watching it, especially when Jersery scored with .9 seconds left on the clock. Poor poor toronto, there hopes finally dashed in a half assed shoot out attempt.

You mean the Calgary with the all-star goalie, one of the best all around players/captains in the world and a ton of playoff experience because they just ran to a Cup finals 7th game 3 years ago?
Sorry, not buying that. They'd be something of a surprise, but let's not cheapen the "Cinderella" tag by attaching it to a quality team like this. Quote:
Having a great regular season is not tantamount to "marrying the prince". And as of right now, we're not going to surprise anyone by doing well. Which is a good thing :) |

OH HELLO!
Seeing as all the playoffs are broadcast in glorious HD and I have recently acquired an equally as glorious HD-PVR to accompany my 50" HDTV I propose many nights of NHL hockey at my house. Anyone else interested to see what we could work out for game nights!?!? |

It's a bit hairy for me, and probably others, to try and make it out there during the week.. why don't we set aside a weekend game as a big ol FNK Canucks meet at your place? Game 3: Sunday Apr. 15th, 6:30pm. Works for you? |
