Motorcyclists

Riding season is pretty much here.... i'm starting to see more and more bikes on the road... my bikes gonna be on the road within a couple days

please be careful, as we dont need another fatality every week like last summer.... assume the cars on the road don't see you (cause most of the fucking idiots don't) and ride accordingly

safe riding everyone, and post a pic of your bike if you have one. i know there are a few of you here

Didn't you make this same thread a couple months ago?

ANYWAYS,

As im pretty sure I mentioned in the other thread - I saw a dead man (he was covered in a sheet...) on the side of the hwy last year. He was driving too fast on his bike on a curvy road.

DRIVE SAFE!

my uncle is in the hospital right now with broken ribs, punctured lungs, broken arm, concussion etc etc Daym! Bailed his bike rippin a corner coming from mission onto the bridge. My other uncle did the same thing only worse on the Coquihala last year. I knew a guy in higschool that died infront of a bunch of people on a sportsbike too.

Ahhh...... as much as I love bikes, I don't think I could buy one now.

It's a dangerous sport.... but i love it with a passion..

I knew mark messiahs cousin. i forget his name... he was a friend of a friend... and he died a couple summers ago on his bike one night when we were all out..

any rider knows a bunch of other riders who have been seriously injured or have died riding...

sucks because the majority of the accidents are when people ride outside of their limits, or when other cars dont see them on the road

Yeah because that was the point of this thread...

Financing a bike isn't hard... anyone bum with decent credit can walk into a dealership and finance something.... it doesn't have anything to do with being rich or anything.. considering top of the line bikes (unless you're going for a busa or ducati, are mostly all under 20 grand) ... which pails in comparison to cars... so bikes are not a status thing. idiot.

I keep second guessing myself.. before i picked up the gixxer... i was really considering the raven edition r6

now this is a sick bike too... and realistic... about the same price as the gsxr :)

didn't sit on one though... anyone know the comfort as opposed to a gsxr?

some of the lower end ducatis are only 10k. and even some of the 999s are like 21k now.... amazing price considering its one of the best bikes out there (as far as motorsport goes), and italian engineers are too stuck up to sell anything at a reasonable price

CodaDrummer is on a distinguished road
Just picked myself up an 07 Harley Softtail Deuce this past Tuesday.

Unfortunatly I don't have a digital cam yet out here in Calgary, but if I can get a quick pic with someone elses I'll post it.

I can't wait to take this bike out. It's quite the step up from my previous bike... an 84 Honda Magna
