word count on email or notepad?

my word is f'd so i have been writing something on shitty notepad but i need to find out how many word it is and it doesnt seem to have word count i was thinking maybe hotmail does but i cant find it anywhere??

BTW, there's a more robust text editor in windows called Wordpad. It has fonts, can save as .doc (and read most of them), and I believe has a word count option in it as well.

Not really. Reads legacy documents better than office 2007. Heck, better than Office XP even.

Funny. About 3-4 years ago I was taking a Software course and the prof was sold on the .doc format.

Well, he had an assignment on a document, and we tried about 5 different versions of Office and none of them could make it look right.

Once through open office and life was magnificent again.

MAYBE TRY DOING SOMETHING MORE WITH YOUR WORD DOCS THAN JUST CHANGE THE FONT.

THATS A GREAT ANECDOTE OF A SINGULAR CASE WHERE OPEN OFFICE OPENED AN OUT OF DATE DOCUMENT

ANY TIME YOU NEED TO OPEN A DOCUMENT THAT WORD CANT READ, TRY OPENOFFICE

ANY TIME YOU NEED TO DO ANYTHING ELSE THAN READ DOCUMENTS, USE THE REAL THING

Funny that. Why would anybody use Word to open and read documents? They must be crazy.
